Chacun de ces autoportraits réalisés rétroactivement est centré au même endroit dans la page blanche, une date et une légende précisent à quelle époque et à quel état d’esprit correspond l’autoportrait. Fiction ou réalité d’un souvenir subjectif, cette série en devenir interroge le jeu de mot dans une approche analytique de définition du Je. "Reco n’être", "reco-naître", "reconnaitre" : cette série pose la question de l’identité, du genre, de la définition de l’être artiste dans la société, l’artiste nait-il avec son public? l’artiste n’est-il pas sans reconnaissance?​​

Each of these retroactively created self-portraits is centered in the same place on the blank page, with a date and caption specifying the period and state of mind corresponding to the self-portrait. Whether fiction or reality of a subjective memory, this evolving series questions the play on words in an analytical approach to defining the self. “Reco n'être” (to be recognized), “reco-naître” (to recognize), “reconnaitre” (to acknowledge): this series raises questions about identity, gender, and the definition of being an artist in society. Is an artist born with their audience? Is an artist without recognition?
